The York Grand Lodge is the only Grand Jurisdiction in Mexico working in the York or American Rite, and it is the only English-speaking Jurisdiction in Mexico. However, our Grand Lodge does also have Spanish-speaking Lodges.
In existence for almost 150 years, the York Grand Lodge is the only Grand Jurisdiction in Mexico formally recognized as a member of the Conference of Grand Masters of Masons of North America. We also have full recognition worldwide (most of the Grand Lodges in Europe, Australia, Japan, etc. and many but not all in Latin America).
By “clicking” on LODGES, you will see that our Lodges are located in Mexico City, Cuernavaca, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Ocotlan (Zamora Lodge), and Monterrey. Should you be travelling in one of these areas, please contact the Lodge and arrange a visit.
If you are not a Mason and reside in México, and would like more information on how to become a Mason, that information is available here. Your comments about the website are most welcome, please communicate them to the webmaster.
